Harrison has responded to the demands of fire rescue professionals by providing an easy and cost-effective solution for dealing with unreliable or under-performing generators. The Harrison Generator Retrofit Program reduces downtime and repair costs through either of two option packages.

The first retrofit option will make use of many of the pre-existing parts such as the tray, meter, pump. The second option provides a completely new Harrison hydraulic generator and offers a trade-in allowance on your old generator. And, like all Harrison generators, a generator installed through the retrofit program is backed by the most comprehensive warranty in the industry. The Harrison Retrofit Program

Harrison can replace your old hydraulic, gas or diesel generator with a Harrison 10 kW in one of two ways: Rebuilt or Complete Replacement. Both options meet Harrison’s strict quality control measures and ensure a cost-effective solution with little or no downtime.

Option 1: The Harrison Rebuilt Unit

Harrison will take out the previously installed generator and utilize some of the existing components, such as the tray, meter, reservoir and pump. Using the existing tray allows us to fit it directly back into the same space where the old unit was mounted. All other parts needed will be replaced with new Harrison components.

Option 2: Harrison Complete Replacement

If the current genset is not practical or functional, we will replace it completely. Harrison will install a NEW hydraulic system and offer a credit for the trade-in of the previous generator.

This is an ideal option for any department that wants to "start fresh" or increase the kW output of their previous system with a new Harrison Hydraulic Generator System, the most reliable in the industry under the harshest of conditions.
